Shop Policies

Every order placed at P & the lion is handmade. I design, manage and make all items out of my home. I put my heart into every order and try to ensure the very best for my customers as they mean the world to me.

PROCESSING TIME

-Because everything is handmade, all made to order purchases take 2-4 weeks NOT including weekends or holidays as stated in my Instagram Bio. If you need something by a certain date, you MUST contact me PRIOR to ordering to ensure I am able to complete the order. A rush processing fee may be required. 

-Any large order over $250 before discounts are applied may take a slightly longer processing time because of its mass. Any questions or concerns regarding large orders can definitely email me prior to or during processing time. If something is needed by a specific date, you MUST email me prior to placing any order no matter the size. 

-All orders are done in the order in which they are received, so processing time varies from month to month and season to season. During big holiday seasons, processing time can even be EXTENDED a few days because of the high order volume. You will receive an email with tracking when your order is complete and packaged up.

-I always give a guaranteed SHIP DATE during the holidays of when I guarantee orders to be out on, BUT they must be made by the cutoff date which is always listed on my Instagram Bio as well as top-selling items for that holiday. If your order is not made by the cutoff date, it is NOT guaranteed to ship by the guaranteed ship date- it follows the normal processing time period. ALSO- items that are not holiday-specific follow normal processing time. (Bunny-tail Pom Shorties for Easter, Stars & Stripes Leo for July Fourth) If you are wanting to order a non-specific item for a holiday, you must let me know prior to ordering so I can be aware of your purchase and to make sure I am able to get it out on time. If not, it will follow normal processing time as described above.

I cannot guarantee a receiving/delivery date because once I send orders off to USPS, it is in their hands. You have the option to select First Class, Priority or Priority Express at checkout- the ONLY insured option is Priority Express.

 All packages are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail, and you will receive an email with tracking information once an item ships. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Once an item has shipped as verified by tracking, we are not liable for the package.

-I, P & the lion, am not responsible for lost, damaged items in transit to the destination.

-I, P & the lion, am not responsible for delayed items that do not get to their destination on time.

READY TO SHIP ITEMS

-There is a small percentage of the shop that is ready to ship- these items are clearly stated in their title and item description because they say READY TO SHIP in all caps in the very first part of their title. They are also in their own section on the shop site: the Ready to Ship Section. Items that are purchased that are RTS, will ship within 1-3 business days IF purchased with other RTS items only unless stated otherwise in their item description. If there is a large sale going on, it may take up to 5-7 days for your items to ship, so PLEASE let me know if you need something by a specific date PRIOR to ordering. If made to order items are purchased with them, they will ship when the other items are completed. Orders cannot be combined or separated once an order is placed.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, RETURNS/EXCHANGES

-Because everything is handmade and most items are made to order specifically for a customer, there are no cancellations, refunds, returns/exchanges available at this time. Your order starts being processed as soon as it goes through- fabric and supplies are ordered and cut; therefore, cancellations cannot be made. Items cannot be returned or exchanged for different sizes because everything is made to order for a specific customer; therefore, all sizing questions must be made PRIOR to ordering to ensure the best fit.

ORDER PREFERENCES

Sizing, length, style and fabric preferences must be emailed after orders have been placed. Emails need to be sent to pandthelion@gmail.com and must contain EITHER order # or the name on the order. If one of these specifications are not included, preferences cannot be guaranteed because there is no way to look up the order. Default (most popular/best-selling) styles, fabrics and lengths will be used otherwise. It is the buyer’s responsibility to MAKE SURE the order number or correct name is in the email before sending just like they must check their correct address is used for shipping purposes. 

NO CHANGES TO AN ORDER ONCE IT IS PLACED

In order to prevent fraud and delivery errors, once an order is placed, I cannot change the address. Please take extra care to ensure you input the proper address when ordering. If you do not put in the correct address or move after ordering, please contact USPS as soon as you receive an email with tracking information to change the delivery address.

 Any other changes to an order cannot be placed- combining/separating order, changing styles, sizes- no changes can be made to an order once it is placed.
